Agricultural and production building projects SIA “Vimba MF”

PRODUCT:

The SIA “Vimba MF” offers to be a valuable partner in the field of agricultural - production building design - advice for the technological process, preparation of a technical project, as well as advice on the design of various types of agricultural buildings and complexes, in cooperation with the LBTU building staff and specialists.   

IDEA:

The construction specialties of the LBTU Faculty of Environment and Civil Engineering, one of the specific courses of study, is the design of agricultural buildings, where students, under the management of professional teaching staff, develop agricultural building projects within the framework of course projects and diploma projects. 

COOPERATION:

The head of Vimba MF is a specialist graduate of the construction specialty of the LBTU Faculty of Environment and Civil Engineering and also a faculty lecturer, Martins Fibigs, who already studied the microclimate and environmental effects of farm buildings in the work of the bachelor and master. In cooperation with the LBTU, agricultural building projects are being developed, which is a specific service in Latvia, starting with small manure storage sites and ending with 3,000 cow complexes. The company has also developed a number of sketch projects for Eastern countries. 

RESULT:

The head of Vimba MF, Martins Fibigs, was nominated in 2014 as an annual engineer in the presentation of its marketed facilities in the field of agricultural buildings.
