LLU will organize on-site classes from November 15

The Cabinet of Ministers has decided that the lockdown announced in the country from 15 November will no longer continue and various restrictions on certain groups of the population will be reduced, including the possibility for students to return to full-time on-site studies in an epidemiologically safe or “green” mode. Similarly, they had been working for a short time in October before the lockdown was announced.

Therefore, from Monday, November 15, the study process at LLU will be organized on-site. The university (all its facilities) has been established as a safe area where only persons with interoperable Covid-19 certificates attesting to the fact of vaccination or illness will be able to stay. These rules apply to everyone, both students and faculty and staff.

Reminder for students! Please upload your Covid-19 certificates in the LLU Information System LAIS so that the responsible employees can make the necessary entries in the system and you will be able to attend all classes without delay. Upon receipt of the information, the certificates from LAIS are deleted and the university does not collect the students' personal data.

In addition, if Covid-19 certification information changes, students and staff are required to notify the university immediately.

As the existence of an interoperable certificate cannot completely eliminate the risk of infection, face masks must be worn in all LLU premises, and regular ventilation and hand disinfection must be ensured.

Both students and staff will be required to sign a special document each day upon arrival at the university stating that there are no acute signs of respiratory infectious disease, no direct contact with those subject to isolation, quarantine or self-isolation, and no direct contact in the last 10 days with a person infected with Covid-19. The signing of documents at each LLU facility will be organized separately.

We kindly ask all members of the LLU family to be responsible to each other, to comply with epidemiological safety requirements and in cases of acute signs of respiratory disease (cough, sore throat, sneezing, runny nose), not to attend the university in person, informing their direct manager / study program director / lecturer / head of the institute.
