ESAF coordinates the development of a unique training curriculum in zero waste management and meets with project partners in Spain to discuss its implementation

In October, 2022, the Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies Faculty of Economics and Social Development (LBTU ESAF) team of the Erasmus + project "Go Zero-Zero Waste Management in Food Sector" visited Valencia, Mancomunitat de la Ribera Alta Alzira. The project meeting was organized by the Spanish partners of the project and it aimed at discussing the progress of the project as well as the plans for future intellectual outputs.

Project meeting was organized by the Spanish Union of municipalities, the event was attended by officials and senior executives from the Ministry, as well as other project partner organizations from Italy, Turkey, the United Kingdom and Lithuania.

The purpose of the meeting was to report on the work done in the project so far. The LBTU team was responsible for the coordination of the project team’s work aimed at professional curriculum development. During the meeting, the future activities of the project were also discussed, the next steps of which are the development of the report "Recommendations for waste management in the food sector", the creation of educational materials and an e-training platform, as well as a guide for the interaction of industries.
