European Association of Surgeons of children and foundations “Doctors SafeTrain” training will take place at the clinic of Faculty of Veterinary Medicine
On the 8th and 9th of October at the clinic of Faculty of Veterinary Medicine a seminar for European Association of Surgeons of children will take place – minimally invasive surgery by using live tissues, to improve their skills in laparoscopy as well as Video Assisted Thoracic procedures.
The aim of the seminar is to improve the surgeons technical skills in minimally invasive surgery and include 12 hours of training – practice under laboratory conditions.
The seminar is organized by LLU and RSU foundation – foundation “Doctors SafeTrain” in cooperation with the European Association of Surgeons of children. The foundations mission is to educate doctors – surgeons, veterinarians and nurses, reduce surgical risks by use of the latest technology.
